Satellite Time Code Generator

  • The satellite data received in the X band is in a Specific data format. This data has to be frame synchronized which is performed by the TCT Unit.
  • Generates time in days, hours, minutes, seconds, milliseconds, microseconds structure in a BCD format.
  • The Host System of Satellite Time Code Generator provides the start time information through RS232 Interface. The time increments will be displayed on HP display devices.
  • The Unit continuously increments from the start time provided by the Host system at an interval of 1micro second.

Explosive pressure measurement

  • Synthetic heterodyne demodulation technique is used to accurately detect the dynamic variation of Pressure by implementing the complex mathematical operations in FPGA based customized developmental board and processing the input signal using above.
  • Since detection process is non-linear, relatively complex techniques are applied to obtain a linear relationship between an output electrical signal and the induced phase shift.
  • The light source output is frequency modulated by modulating the laser driving current and the sent to the sensor module. During interference at fibre end light beams differs in phase due to source frequency modulation and induced phase shift due to stimuli (Pressure).
  • Explosive pressure measurement Hardware Architecture consists of ADC, DAC, DSP in FPGA.
